Just what I needed because it runs purely on batteries. I have no power connected to my building yet and this enabled me to alarm the house anyway. If only it also had an auto dial feature it would have got 5 stars. GG Lincs

I purchased the Yale alarm last week and was impressed by how little time it took to set up and mount the alarm. The product came with a short set up DVD instruction guide, I used this throughout the set up proccess and found it extremely helpful. After mounting the alarm, I armed it and tested the PIR sensors and Door Magnetic contacts which resulted in the siren being set off, this reassured me that the alarm was working effectively. Another benefit of this alarm is that it is all battery operated and therefore does not need mains power. I would reccomend this Yale alarm to anyone who wants an easy and quick to set up alarm which is fit for purpose. I am very impressed with this product and now can be assured that my house is protected. LG Beds.

Very clever, no need for electricity so was able to install in one of my barns to protect my machinery. Outside Siren as well, fantastic value thank you CPP. JR - Wilts.

Yale Wireless Burglar Alarm Including External Siren Description

The Yale Wireless Alarm System is designed for the home or smaller office. A simple to install system that has been designed with the user in mind and includes a powerful external siren with built in Strobe Lighting in the event of an activation.

- No need for mains power, this is ideal for the more remote location where power is not available, for example vulnerable farm buildings with expensive machinery or stock contents, remote houses or buildings, boat yards, Stable tack Rooms and even Containers which are used to hold valuable equipment.

- Components are self contained - there is no need for any connection between the units as it works entirely wirelessly. So there is no reason to damage your decor or lift carpets or run cables.

- Up to 20 devices can be installed on the system. As well as adding extra Door/Window Contacts and Movement Sensors you may also add Smoke Detectors, Keyfob Remote Controls and Help/Panic Buttons (see accessories below).

- Absolutely no need to wire in to the mains or seek the services of a qualified electrician as ALL the components are powered by battery (all batteries included). The system has a typical battery life of 2 years or more before they need changing and the system will even report when they need replacing. Easily obtainable Alkaline batteries are used throughout and should always be replaced by the same type which are available at all good stores.

- Each part of the alarm system is 'tamper' protected' and any unauthorised tampering with the system will result in an alarm.

- There is an Entry/Exit Delay of about 20 seconds which allows the user time to leave the premises when arming the system and upon returning, the feature allows the user time to enter and turn the alarm off without causing an alarm function to operate.

- If an alarm has triggered at any time whilst you are out, the system will inform you of this by the external siren sounding and flashing for just 3 seconds when you return and disarm the unit on entering.

- If you have pets, simply ensure that the rooms where the pets are located are protected by magnetic door contacts.
