Spectrum Gateway Alarm Description
British made and incredibly reliable, this is the entry level of the Spectrum Driveway Alert range. Producing a Passive Infra Red signal in a narrow corridor shaped beam up to 40m away, so perfect for covering a long drive, entrance path or gateway. Whenever the PIR senses heat and movement it sends a wireless signal to the small receiver Chime Unit in the house up to 300m away and becasue it issues a corridor shaped beam rather like a horizontal pencil torch beam, it is less likely to 'see' small animals beneath it.
The Spectrum Gateway Alarm is the economical alternative to the main Spectrum Driveway alarm system as this offers the same reliable operation as the more expensive counterpart but with a range of 300m instead of 400-500m offered with the main Spectrum kit.
The Alert Sien will sound for about 5 seconds every time the sensor picks up movement informing you of arrivals and deliveries etc.
