I bought a cheap panic alarm from elsewhere for my Grandmother and it was totally un-reliable, which was worrying. I then bought the Red Shield Wireless Auto Dialler and Panic Alarm from you and I have to say it's given us complete peace of mind. Red Shield Wireless Auto Dialler and Home Panic Alarm Description

This Wireless Auto Dialler is designed for use with the Red Shield Wireless House Alarm but may also be used as a Stand-Alone Panic Alarm for use by the infirm or the elderly and is supplied complete with a neck pendant.

When used as an accessory for the Wireless House Alarm, it automatically connects and is ready for use as soon as you have input a short 20 second message and up to 8 telephone numbers. If the Wireless House Alarm triggers then the Auto Dialler immediately begins calling the numbers stored in the sequence selected. Upon receipt of the message, the recipient simply has to press the # key on their telephone to tell the machine not to dial any other numbers (prevents misunderstanding if call has been answered by an asnwer machine for example).

It is then possible to listen in to the premises by pressing the '1' button and you may also speak by pressing the '3' button on your phone. In this way, not only have you been informed of an alarm but you can listen in to see if you can hear anything happening. Akternatively the system contiues to call the next number in sequence until an answer is received.

When used as a Panic Alarm (by an elderly relative for example), this means that you can listen to what is happening and also speak so that the person activating the alarm may be able to hear you and feel re-assured that someone is aware and coming to their assistance. There is a neck pendant supplied which has a 50m range (covering most properties) and therefore probably will even reach the garden so if in trouble, the wearer may still summon assistance.

There are many uses for this as a Panic Alarm as it provides a reasonably priced option for calling for help at home or at work. Think about a lone worker either during the night or evening or maybe only for a certain period of the day, like lunch times. You might have a receptionist who is alone for a period of time but with this kit a simple press of the button on the pendant will be all that is required to set the auto dialler into motion and begin calling the first number for help or assistance.
