I have put this across my gated entrance and driveway approach. It warns me every time a car or someone comes through the gate and up the drive. I'm very inpressed with the way it doesn't seem to pick up animals so no false alarms! JN Carlisle

Ranch Wireless Driveway Alarm up to 300m Range Description

British made and incredibly reliable, this is the entry level of the Spectrum Driveway Alert range. Position the sensor 2.5m from the ground and it will produce a Passive Infra Red signal in a narrow corridor shaped beam up to 30m away, so perfect for covering a length of driveway, boundary line, entrance path or gateway. Whenever the PIR senses heat and movement it sends a wireless signal to the small receiver Bleeper Unit in the house up to 300m away and because it issues a corridor shaped beam rather like a horizontal pencil torch beam, it is less likely to 'see' small animals beneath it.

The Ranch Driveway Alarm is the economical alternative to the main Spectrum Driveway alarm system as this offers the same reliable operation as the more expensive counterpart but with a range of 300m instead of 400-500m offered with the main Spectrum kit.

The Alert Bleeper will sound for about 5 seconds every time the sensor picks up movement informing you of arrivals and deliveries etc. and you can even set the Alert Bleeper to only respond during the day or during the night or both.

Fully recommended and reliable, we have these in use on farms etc. in Buckinghamshire after many years and still going strong!
