You won't damage your room decor The Professional+ is a wireless burglar alarm so you have no cables to route around your home. The sensors even come with adhesive so you don't need to drill any holes. Just connect the control panel to the mains at any nearby power socket and connect it to your phone line. Take it with you if you move Unlike most alarm systems, the Professional+ is completely portable. If you ever move house or office, just take it with you. It's the perfect solution. Professional+ Wireless Burglar Alarms are very easy to install straight from the box! Locate the Control Panel somewhere convenient to both a mains supply and a telephone point and carry out the connections as described in the manual. Depending upon the layout of your home or office, you could fit the Door Magnetic Contact to the back door and then install one of the PIR Movement Detector's in the hallway above the front door. This will protect the front door as well as the hallway. The second PIR Movement Detector could be placed in the living room for example. Finally, fit the external wireless siren to the outside of the building and the Basic kit is then installed! The hallway detector will pick up any movement in the hall (which usually links the main rooms of the house) so, together with the PIR in the living room, effectively protecting the whole of the ground floor. Anyone entering through an upstairs widow, will trigger the alarm as soon as they come down the stairs towards the hallway. However, it is also possible to install another PIR movement detector (see accessories) on the upstairs landing which would be triggered as soon as anyone opened a bedroom door. The external wireless Siren and Strobe Light is monitored constantly by the Control Panel and you will be given warning when the Lithium battery begins to run down. Even in that situation there will be enough power left to still cover at least two more activations of the Siren and remember, because they are lithium batteries, they will last at least 3 years.
