Used for sheds, garages, barns, outbuildings etc. This simply installed product is designed to effectively protect those places that store equipment but may have the occasional non human visitor that would normally set off a PIR based system. System sensitivity can be altered and tuned to your requirements. Note that this item is not designed to respond to movement, it is looking for vibration or shock as in someone forcing the door etc.

Shed Alarms can prove vital in preventing theft.  Sheds are a target for thieves looking to steal expensive gardening equipment such as strimmers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers and other items stored in sheds. A shed is often a target as it is not located in or near a house and therefore it may be easier to enter without detection. Incidents involving theft from garden sheds usually occur due to owners negligence in securing their property after working in the garden.

A shed alarm can be a valuable addition to security precautions along with good quality locks. Other crime prevention tactics include chaining equipment together to prevent movement of individual items. Police also advise keeping a record of the make, model and serial numbers of equipment and machinery.

Can be installed simply by securing the unit to the inside of the door by hanging on a screw.  Arm the unit by entering your own 4 digit code, there is an exit delay of about 20 seconds.  Upon entering the shed, there is an entry delay of about 12 seconds in which to enter your 4 digit code to turn the alarm off.
