Introduction
The Chaperone® Keyfob Personal Attack Safety Alarm produces a high output alarm sound and ultra bright LED light. It is ideal for almost everyone with concerns for their personal safety.
Approx. Dimensions :
Length 5.75 cm, Width (At widest Point) 3.6 cm, Height only 2.0 cm.
Battery Installation
The Alarm Requires (3) LR44 batteries which come supplied and fitted to the alarm. To replace the batteries, the following simple procedure should be followed :
1. Access the battery compartment by removing the two screws on the back of the alarm with a small Phillips screwdriver. Gently pull off the back cover from the alarm.
2. Replace (3) LR44 button batteries noting polarity.
3. Refit the back cover and tighten screws.
Operation of the Alarm
1. Activate the Siren- hold the alarm in one hand and pull the keychain with pin out of the alarm body with the other.
2. To stop the siren – insert the pin back into alarm body.
Operation of the Light
Simply press and hold the button located on lower position of the unit.
WARNING
The high output siren fitted to this quality personal alarm may cause ear damage if used at close range for a prolonged period of time. Keep away from children and pets!
