I purchased this alarm for my barn. I have a small holding and myself, the gardener & my wife need to have access to the equipment in the barn. With the alarm we all know the code and simply enter this each time - so no need to be carrying a fob. Because it is battery operated I don't need to worry about a power failure (as we get many out here) and the barn and contents are protected. Keypad Intruder Alarm (Battery Operated) Description

This product which is similar to the Keyfob PIR Shed Alarm is ideal when it needs to be used by more than one person that needs to access the protected property and therefore can be given the keypad codes.

Remember our intruder alarms are the loudest, the best made, the most versatile and have the longest battery life of any similar product in the UK. Suitable for homes, sheds, garages, caravans and general purpose security. Our alarms give great versatility and breadth of application.

The Keypad Shed Alarm can be used as a traditional alarm and the mounting bracket is swivel connected to the alarm body, thus allowing complete control of the area to be covered. Not only will it protect by looking for movement, it comes complete with a Magnetic Contact and 2m of cable. This allows you to position the alarm near to a door which can also be protected from entry. As soon as the contact os broken, the alarm is triggered.

This product is simple and very effective. The movement sensor has an approximate range of 15 - 20 feet covering a 70 degrre angle on the vertical and 110 degrees on the horizontal. When set, the alarm is activated by the sensor when movement is detected or if the magnetic contact is broken. Once the alarm has been triggered, the sounder will operate for about 30 seconds before re-setting and looking for further movement.
