The glass guard alarm is excellent,and is a very good addition to my house alarm. I installed five units which when tested all activated before the house alarm was set off. The selective sensitivity and very good siren make the units highly effective as an alarm and a deterrent to intruders. JS

I love these little gems. There are almost no panes of glass in my entire house that are without them. And, I've not stopped buying them, yet. The sensitivity is great. I can set one of these in "watch" mode and gently/slowly move the point of a small screwdriver towards the window pane and, even if there's not even a sound made by the driver point as it touches the glass, THAT ALARM HAMMERS THE EARS, every time. Whatever opening is used by a burglar to get in, by a window, they can't afford these little babes to throw their incredible noise back out through that opening - trust me! And, if you have more than one of these on panes of glass in the same window, then what proves to be enough to set one alarm off is perfectly capable of triggering some of the others, too. HELL, FOR BURGLARS! They hate noise, they hate taking too long and they hate attention!

I have been using these types of alarms on my downstairs windows for some years and this is the loudest version I have ever had. Swift delivery too. LMcS London

I have a small antiques shop and I purchased a few of these to put on the more expensive and larger items. There is one on the back of an old painting and one on an irreplacable vase. If anyone was to try and move them it will set off the alarm. Brilliant little device. MH Kensington

Glass Guard Window Alarm Description

The Glass Guard Window Alarm is an effective low cost vibration alarm that can be used for securing windows or patio doors.

The Glass Guard can also be used as a personal property alarm to protect Computers, T'Vs, video's and cabinets etc. Supplied with batteries and strong adhesive tape.

INSTALLATION
Use the sticker at the back of the unit to stick the unit on glass pane, door or window.

OPERATION
1. Turn the switch at the left side to ‘high’ or ‘low’ to begin operating. A signal will be given out to announce the unit is in good condition. When the glass is hit, knocked or cut by anyone, the siren will sound for 10-20 seconds and then reset.
2. The unit can be set to high or low sensitivity. ‘High Sensitive’ mode will detect a little vibration. ‘Low Sensitive’ mode will need a stronger vibration to make the unit react.
3. The unit will also perform well on wooden or metallic windows and doors.
4. If the unit is not placed in the middle of the door or window, use ‘High’ mode.

BATTERIES
Operated by 2x1.5v AAA batteries. Always check to avoid low battery .
