Chaperone® Domestic Help/Panic Home Alarm System with Auto-Dial feature Description
For the elderly, the infirm or threatened, this essential product insures peace of mind to the user and valuable information for the recipient. Knowing that when activated by pressing the neck pendant help is at hand. Not only does it alert the caller but it also allows two way conversation. This is vital in the event of a fall or medical emergency or if there is a threatening event. This importantly enables the recipient to ascertain the circumstances before action. With not one, but three preset numbers the user is assured that help is not far away.
This amazingly priced unit is small and neat and comes complete with double telephone socket adaptor to simply plug in with your existing phone.
Takes only 20 minutes to set up: Simply plug in to the mains socket and telephone point - Record your own 10 second outgoing message - Programme up to 3 telephone numbers and the unit is ready!
Absolutely ideal for the elderly or infirm or even anybody in an environment where they do not feel safe! One simple press of the Neck Pendant triggers the Auto-Dial unit to begin calling the first number programmed in. The caller will then hear the unit sending the pre-programmed 10 second message which, in itself, gives immediate re-assurance.
Once the call has been received, the person receiving the call listens to the message and then has a short time to press any key on their keypad which not only tells the unit that the message has been received (as opposed to an answer machine for example) but immediately opens the Two-Way Communication channel allowing them to listen-in and also speak to the person initiating the panic alarm. If the called number does NOT respond, then the unit will commence calling the next number in the list.
