Think Shed Security

Filed under: Home Security — admin @ 11:29 am

If you take a stroll down many of the streets in Britain and just have a quick glance at some back yards (without looking too suspicious, mind), you’ll notice one major thing, gone are the small potting sheds, which once stood proud at the rear of each garden crammed full of seedlings, lawnmowers and tools. Now people are opting to have proper Summer Houses that will accommodate up to 10 people, satellite TV, music systems and a bar.

With the price rising of going out and the consistent threat of violence in every pub and club, it’s no wonder that some residents have opted to host garden parties for a few of their friends rather than risk going into town or the city centre. Garden sheds have come a long way in the last few years and unfortunately people forget this when it comes to protecting them.

People think about home security by securing their homes with alarm systems, window and door locks and even hi-tec CCTV Systems then go to bed and forget that there is a shed in the garden filled with expensive hi-tec equipment.

When you are looking to improve your home security remember that it should also include sheds, outbuildings and garages. Simple devices such as driveway alarms and shed and garage alarms will prevent your goods from simply walking off.
