Simple Door Security

Filed under: Home Security — admin @ 1:44 pm

Most homeowners and employers will spend money on Hi-Tec alarm systems, driveway alarms and PIR lighting for their homes, garages and businesses and then forget to arm one of the most vulnerable areas of their premises – their doors.

Incredibly, doors are one area that people often seem to give less attention to when it comes to security. OK, some will have a chain fitted, but for the majority, even having a decent lock seems to much hassle?

One of the best ways to monitor who is entering your home or office is to install a simple door alarm.

In the Home, door alarms should be treated as an important factor in the fight against crime and personal security. For instance if you are at home and either upstairs or out in the back garden, what is to stop an opportunistic thief from opening your door and taking whatever is close at hand? Door alarms are also invaluable if you have young children in your family, as a door alarm will alert you if they attempt to open the front or back doors.

In the Factory/office, as a business owner you will know the importance of being aware of peoples where-a-bouts in your factory, as some employees are only too eager to helping themselves to factory or office supplies. If you have a business, a door alarm is the ideal way to ensure that no unauthorised persons can gain entry to restricted areas and if they attempt this will trigger the alarm alerting management and supervisors.

Door alarms are simple alarms with a magnetic contact which will sound if the contact is broken.
