Spring Into Window Security

Filed under: Security Locks — admin @ 2:36 pm

Spring brings the onset of warmer weather and if your an avid gardener then this is the time to be in the garden or shed pottering away and enjoying ‘elevenses’, sitting at the front or back door, chatting to friends and neighbours. Getting outside again after being cooped up after a rotten winter is great, till you walk back into your house and find that someone has opened your ‘slightly’ ajar window and helped themselves to your purse, wallet or car keys.

Opportunistic thieves love this time of the year, much like the rest of us. Thieves simply walk down any street, like a shopper in a supermarket aisle, selecting and taking what they want, when they want. Wallets, purses, car keys will suddenly sprout legs and simply hop out and disappear through your slightly open window. Most criminals will access your home via two main entry points : doors or windows.

There is a simple and inexpensive way to protect your property, the Glass Guard Window Alarm will detect any vibration then sound off an impressive 130 Db alarm alerting you that someone is trying to tamper with your windows.

Remember, Spring is all about rebirth, life, growth and change. Let’s start changing the way we protect our property and valuables. Don’t give thief’s a window of opportunity in your neighbourhood.

Moving from room-to-room, sometimes trashing everything in their path but most importantly – infringing your personal space.

Power Securing Your Motorbikes and Cycles

Filed under: Security Locks — admin @ 12:54 pm

As the old saying goes “If a thief wants it they will get it”, however, the more security measures that are in place means the higher risk a thief takes off being caught in-the-act. Does this mean we simply give-up and make it easy for them? Not a chance!

What about protecting our possessions like motorbikes and cycles – which are targetted often because they are seen as an easy choice for thieves?

The use of a chain will deter some thieves but not all of them, if you really want to deter the most persistent thieves then try the Rhino Quadlink case Hardened security Chain, this 1.5 metre long hardened steel chain which is protected in it’s own sleeve and has a high resistance to bolt cutters and hacksaws.

The Perfect Portable Security Lock

Filed under: Security Locks — admin @ 11:00 am

bike-theftHow many times do we lock our possessions up thinking that they will be safe, whether it is a garden shed, tool boxes, store rooms or even your favourite bike down the local shops, thieves have the knack of getting passed our attempts of prevention and we know nothing about it till it’s too late?

This is very disturbing knowing that someone has been in your personal space and away with your hard earned possessions, this is not including the hassle of contacting the Police then there’s the insurance, again adding money to your premiums, more expense that you don’t need in this economic climate.
