In just a few short months we’ll see a massive change in the weather in this little island of ours. Long gone the warm evenings to be replaced with dark nights, rain (cold rain at that), wind and even sudden snow falls. Still every year people in Britain are caught out by sudden changes in the weather.
As the rain or snow starts to fall, people still decide to take unnecessary journeys in their cars. In-fact, just last year thousands of people were trapped in their cars, vans and lorries as the snow began to fall with devastating consequences, many of these people were totally unprepared to be trapped in their vehicles.
When we mention personal protection we automatically think about self protection and alerting passers-by when we feel threatened. However, it can also mean being prepared for events that are normally outwith of our control. There are several items that can be carried in your vehicle for those ‘just in-case moments’ when the unimaginable does happen and although Crime Prevention Products don’t sell blankets and water bottles they do have a range of products that no car/driver should be without, these include:
- Emergency Torches, to help find your way round the immediate area.
- Personal alarms, can be used to alert people where you are. For adults and kids.
- Fire Extinguishers, just big enough to fit into the boot of your car.
